An evening of food, wine and dance celebrating Ballet Memphis's 40th season.
Guests choose between the 2:00 PM matinee and the 7:30 PM evening performance of Memphis Sounds at Playhouse on the Square. Matinee guests attend the performance first, then walk across Overton Square to Ballet Memphis's Midtown studios for dinner. Evening guests begin with dinner at the studios, then walk to the theater for the 7:30 PM curtain. Show tickets will be for main-floor seating.
Each ticket includes the complete dinner experience and admission to the performance.
Your ticket includes:
Arrival cocktail
Four-course dinner
Curated wine pairings
Admission to Ballet Memphis's Memphis Sounds (Main Floor Seating)
Ballet Memphis opens its 40th mainstage season with a program rooted in the music and culture of Memphis. Memphis Sounds brings together Trey McIntyre’s acclaimed In Dreams, set to the music of Roy Orbison; Steven McMahon’s Unapologetic, featuring live performances by artists from the Memphis record label; and a world premiere by choreographer Yusha-Marie Sorzano.
Created by Josh Conley and Chef Cole Jeanes, the Etowah Collective stages one-night-only dinners in unexpected spaces throughout the city, pairing each meal with thoughtful wine, cocktails and original art. The result is what we call low-fi fine dining—ambitious food, unusual surroundings and an experience that could only happen once. The work Etowah does is intended to build a more robust, creative and connected food and beverage industry in Memphis.
